How does the team work? Do I pay per person?
Each plan includes a number of people: one on Solo, three on Team, ten on Business. Past that, a teammate is $8 a month. If somebody only needs to receive alerts and never opens the dashboard, an alert-only seat is $2. We would rather you added the person than left them off the on-call schedule to save money, which is why the seats are cheap and the alert-only ones are cheaper.
What counts as a monitor?
One target checked one way: an HTTP monitor on your API, a TCP monitor on your database, an SSL monitor on your domain. Heartbeat monitors have their own allowance and don’t count toward the monitor limit. Paused monitors don’t count either. If you need a few more than your plan includes, they are $0.20 each rather than a forced upgrade.
What does white-label cost?
Nothing extra. Removing “Powered by StatusCheck”, using your own logo and sending subscriber email from your own domain are part of the Team plan at $19, not a separate line on the invoice. Custom domains with automatic TLS start one plan lower, on Solo.
How do SMS and call allowances work?
Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance: 30 on Solo, 100 on Team, 200 on Business. Email, Slack and webhook alerts are always unlimited and never metered. Past the allowance an alert is $0.10, and we’ll tell you when you’re close. A monitor that pages every minute for days usually needs fixing rather than billing, and we’ll say so.
Can I change plans or cancel at any time?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period, and your data stays exportable throughout.
When will pricing be final?
This is our launch pricing for early-access teams. Anyone who joins during early access keeps this pricing for at least twelve months after general availability, even if list prices change.
