Create a status page

A status page is how your customers learn about problems from you instead of from each other. StatusCheck status pages are generated from the same data as your dashboard, use the same status vocabulary, and update in real time.

Creating a page

1. Go to Status pages → New status page.
2. Choose a name and a subdomain, for example acme.statuscheck.io. You can add a custom domain later.
3. Choose Public or Private. Private pages require a password or, on Business plans, single sign-on.
4. Publish.

Components

Components are what visitors see: “API”, “Web app”, “Payments”, “Email delivery”. Each component is backed by one or more monitors, or is manual, updated only through incidents you post.

When a component is backed by several monitors, its state is the worst state among them. Group related components under headings (“Core platform”, “Integrations”) so a long page stays scannable.

Each component shows a 90-day uptime bar: one bar per day, colored by that day’s worst state, with the day’s incidents on hover. The bar comes straight from monitor history and can’t be edited by hand.

What visitors see

• An overall status banner reading All systems operational, Partial outage, Major outage or Under maintenance, derived from the components.
• The component list with current state and 90-day history.
• Active incidents and scheduled maintenance at the top, with their update timelines.
• A history of past incidents.
• A Subscribe button.

Subscribers

Visitors can subscribe by email, RSS/Atom, or Slack. Subscribers receive incident updates and scheduled maintenance notices. Email subscriptions are double-opt-in, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also subscribe to individual components rather than the whole page.

Branding

Upload a logo, set a favicon, pick an accent color, and choose light or dark. Paid plans remove the “Powered by StatusCheck” line and let you send subscriber emails from your own domain. There is no separate charge for either.
